Dwarf Tiger Eye originated from a cross made by Sherry Long called Leggy F1 between a selection of the Dwarf Tomato Project’s Lazy family and Orange Banana. (Lazy itself is a family created by Patrina
Nuske-Small by crossing Purple Russian with Kangaroo Paw Brown, one of our released dwarfs
from the Witty family). Dwarf Tiger Eye was selected and named by Susan Oliverson. It is a
regular leaf dwarf plant that produces lots of 4-6 ounce brown colored paste tomatoes with a
wonderfully balanced, pleasant flavor. It averages as a midseason variety.
