Dwarf Crimson Sockeye is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces oblate medium to medium large fruit that ripen to a dusky rose purple hue. The flavor is well balanced and sweet, and the variety is quite prolific. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Rosella Purple (a 2010 Dwarf Project release) and Pink Berkeley Tie Dye and named Tidy. Dwarf Crimson Sockeye was selected and named and developed by Susan Bailey and Ted Maiden.
