70 days from transplant – first offered to the public in 2015 by Sample Seed Shop, Victory Seeds and Tatiana’s TOMATObase. Dwarf Purple Heart is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces heart shaped medium to medium large fruit that ripen to a dusky rose purple hue. The flavor is well balanced and intense, and the variety is quite prolific. It originated from a cross made by Vince Lavallo between Dwarf Wild Fred (a Dwarf Project release from 2010) and Brad’s Black Heart and named Porky. Dwarf Purple Heart was selected and named by Vince Lavallo.
