Dwarf Maura’s Cardinal
Dwarf Maura’s Cardinal produces medium sized (4-8 oz) red round tomatoes with a well balanced, delicious flavor. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season. It is a prolific potato leaf variety and fruit ripens midseason.
Description
The Dainty family originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske-Small between two of our Dwarf Project released varieties, Summertime Gold (from the Sneezy family) and Sleeping Lady (from the Grumpy family). Dwarf Maura’s Cardinal was selected and named by Susan Oliverson. The potato leaf dwarf plants produce lots of medium sized (4-8 oz) red round tomatoes with a well balanced, delicious flavor. It is considered a midseason variety.
