80 days from transplant – first offered to the public in 2012 by Gleckler. Summer Sunrise is a potato leaf dwarf variety that produces oblate medium to medium large sized fruit that ripen to bright yellow with a distinct pink blossom end blush. The flavor is intense, well balanced and sweet.. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Golden Dwarf Champion and Green Giant, named Sneezy. Summer Sunrise was selected and named by Susan Anderson.
